You know, it still doesn't seem real!
What a busy week! We've been up to Hull for
the weekend, either side of meals with the family we had an awesome night
out with Andy, Andrea, Gavin, Angie, Ronnie & Sam. Thanks for being such
great friends and even more thanks for helping to make me feel like death
warmed up on Sunday morning!
On Saturday morning we went to see Mrs B. who
is not only a legend, but also happens to be my adopted second mum.
During our Executive Meeting about Gavin's future, Mrs B. was gracious
enough to grant permission for Mr B. and Kay, Gav's sister, to stay.
Although I do think it was mainly just to make the tea though!
My mum and dad (Niks) decided that they were
going to cook just about everything I had ever said was one of my
favourite things to eat and we weren't allowed to leave until it had all
gone! Any weight that we had lost was well and truly put back on last
weekend, but the food was fantastic. On Sunday thankfully my brother, two
nieces and sister-in-law were there to help us tackle the bountiful feast!
Nearly all our furniture was put into storage
on Tuesday which does make the house feel strange, but even then it still
does not seem to have registered that we move out on Saturday morning! At
least we seem to be organised with the house and bills, etc, even if we
still haven't sorted out what we're taking with us yet! |
