Our first week
off work has flown by!
It seems like
there is so much to organise and so little time left! Isn't it funny how
on these automated telephone services if you want to buy something you get
straight through, but if you want to cancel something you have to wait for
ages!
The more you
organise, the more you also realise you have forgotten! For example, we
remembered to cancel Sky, but completely forget about the TV licence.
People's reaction
to our decision to go travelling still makes me chuckle at times.
Sometimes you would think that we are the first people ever to go and do
something like this. The world is full of backpackers, but then again
maybe we are a bit (ok quite a bit) older than the average backpacker?
One thing I am concerned about is that any of the fellow backpackers we
meet that choose to have a night drinking with us might not be able to
keep up with us! Ahem! |
