AFRICAN BUNDU safaris

HOMEPAGE - WORLD TOUR - AFRICAN BUNDU ADVENTURE - CONTACT US

The following is our feedback to African Bundu Safaris from our last 4 holidays:

10 June to 1 September 2006

So what do we say the fifth time? The fact that we have booked everything through Dean rather than book it ourselves after all the times we have been to southern Africa says it all. This time it was a twelve week stint, organised at last minute, with a much tighter budget than ever before! Everything was yet again organised to perfection, the car hire, driving directions, accommodation, activities, the self-catering cool-box and utensils! Four countries, eighty-three nights, 13,516 kilometres, of which 3,789 kilometres were on gravel roads and not a single puncture! Although I take credit for that bit, along with a little help from Mother Nature! Nothing was too much trouble for Dean, if we needed help, or wanted to change anything the communication was quick, clear and always friendly! The best personal service that can be found in Africa! Thanks mate.

2 to 30 August 2003

Well, this is now the fourth time I have given you feedback after organising a holiday to Africa for me.

Your ability to understand what people want to see and do and where they can find it and still keep the cost of it within budget is second to none. The choice of reserves and different styles of accommodation you made was fantastic and there was not one place we didn't love staying at. This was by far and away the best holiday that either of us have ever had and we are already thinking about where in Africa we want you to organise for us in 2005, 2007 and 2009.

Once again, thanks guys, you really are the best Africa has to offer.

15 May to 4 June 2002

Firstly, or should I now say "thirdly"!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the third holiday that has been organised for me by ABS. The outstanding organisation, communication, personal service, friendliness and unbelievable knowledge offered by African Bundu Safaris is second to none. This is a company that should be up for every global tourism award going and even if I am slightly biased I think my belief is justified. Once again, thank you so much for a faultless holiday - next date will be April 2004!!!!!! Get thinking!!!!!

7 to 28 April 2001

This was my second trip to SA, organised by Dean, and Angela’s first. Its nice to see that even though Dean’s company has doubled its workforce in the last two years, the personal touch has not changed!! There are too many highlights to mention, but a couple were:

  • Dean nearly driving into a family of 60+ elephants in Hluhluwe, we got to spend time watching a whole family from a 2 week old to the Matriach.

  • Thula Thula – experience it or miss out on one of the best places in SA. The staff, chalets, service, game drives etc, are out of this world.

  • Iphiva floating chalets – leaving Dean stranded on the river bank!!!

  • Wendy’s at St Lucia – what a lady – what a hostess! Watch out for Fergie – she’s a big softie!!!

  • Dean – don’t give him too big a bag to unload – it confuses him!!!

  • DEAN. What can I say! A 3 week trip to Zimbabwe, Sun City, all the above, the Garden Route and Cape Town – all within our price range. The communication between ourselves and Dean and Alice was excellent. When we arrived, all our taxis, tours, shuttles, accommodation, etc, had been booked and all turned up on time and were expecting us. This guy offers an exceptional service and I honestly believe that everyone coming to SA needs to know what Dean can offer. That is: Professionalism, trust, the personal touch and huge pride in the service he offers.

3 to 18 June 1999

What can I say!! Two guys, one Guide, one incredibly equipped 4x4. Personal, proud, professional service from a genuine bloke (Dean in case you hadn't guessed.) We saw 10 times as much as we would have done with a big group. We stopped when and where we wanted and also when Dean spotted the game, which was far more frequently than we did! His eyesight, experience and SOME of his jokes were invaluable. The only way to see what you want is to book the best there is. We did. Thanks Dean it was incredible, we will be in touch very shortly to book to go to Botswana and so I can send an e-mail to thank you properly and act as a point of reference for anyone in the UK.
