Not much to say about Pretoria other than we loved our time here!  We had never been here before, firstly because of its reputation which is very unjust, but secondly because it is Bulls country, Blue Bulls that is!  When you are a Sharks fan it is not advisably to go wandering around Bulls country on your own!  The people we met in Pretoria were great, very friendly and extremely helpful, even the Bulls fans!

The reason we came to Pretoria was to see the Tri-Nations clash between South Africa and the mighty All Blacks at Loftus Versfeld.  New Zealand had already won the Tri-Nations title, but their goal now had to be to finish the tournament undefeated!  They quite impressively won the game, although the Springboks did start stronger and an upset looked like it could have been on the cards!  Now most rugby games I have been to there tends to be a queue for the gents, but the ladies is always three times as long!  Here there was no queue for the ladies, but a massive one for the gents, so Angela, who had consumed several beers by this stage, decided to sneak me into the Ladies so we didn't have to wait!

After the game at the Eastwood Tavern we shared another toilet, this time it was a shot called a "Soweto Toilet!”  This is a banana flavoured shot with a shot of vodka and a shot of Amarula.  The banana shot makes it yellow, whilst the Amarula is brown in colour and congeals!  It tastes much better than it looks!  We also got served double B52 shots, as they had run out of small glasses, but they only charged us for the normal sized ones!
